Harvest Christian University Aviation Program
We are excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership between Harvest Christian University, The Jesse Douglas Flight School is named after the Late Jesse Douglas Robinson , who loved flying and flew twin cessnas at the age of 8 years old. One of his passions was to become a pilot. He took one trip and flew over his home. He loved it.
Dr. Ron Mays, and Tuskegee University. Our aviation program is aimed at advancing aviation education and training opportunities. This collaboration will leverage the expertise and resources of all three entities to create a unique program that will benefit aspiring pilots and the aviation industry as a whole.
Dr. Ron Mays, a highly experienced professional pilot with over 20 years in the field, has joined forces with his son, Myles Mays, to form an aviation team that has already made history.
Their passion for aviation and commitment to excellence align perfectly with the goals of this partnership. Tuskegee University, a renowned historically black university located in Alabama, has
a rich legacy in aviation education and training.
With its strong emphasis on STEM education and commitment to empowering underrepresented communities, Tuskegee University is an ideal partner
for this initiative. The centerpiece of this partnership is Dr. Ron Mays' Beta program, which focuses on training new pilots through a military program. This program
will provide aspiring pilots with comprehensive training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, preparing them for successful careers in aviation. By combining the expertise of Dr. Ron Mays and the resources of Tuskegee University, this program will offer a unique and impactful learning experience.
